Hi there. I submitted an article earlier titled "How To Raise Tomato Plants From Seed". It was rejected, with the reason being "We accept only completely original content".
I ran the article through several plagiarism detectors after this, and did manage to find a few sentences that were relatively similar to other pages on the internet. I changed the sentences in question, and ran it through the plagiarism detector that had picked up on the similarities. It came back 100% clean. This is why I'm now confused that the article's been rejected for the same reason again, and that this time I've been asked not to resubmit. I spent a large part of the day writing this article, and I'm extremely frustrated that all that time might have been for nothing.
It would be great if you could give me some info.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: "How To Raise Tomato Plants From Seed" Rejection
Regardless of what your checks indicated to you, our checks indicated this article is not 100% original either the first time or the second time the article was reviewed. Furthermore, if an article is not original to begin with, and the author changes that information to avoid detection from plagiarism checkers, this does not necessarily make the information "original."
Writers should not rely on plagiarism checkers to make sure that their content is original. This must be built into the writing process.
I'm sorry, but we cannot consider this article.
Thank you,
Ed
