The article was rejected for not having completely original content. Which section does that apply to since the body of my article has cited sources?

How much did you put in of those sources? A sentence is sometimes acceptable, but anything more borders on copyright infringement. It's much like putting the words of a song in an article. A line from it is acceptable in most cases. Anything more must have the permission of the copyright holder. Basically, too much written into the article from cited sources sometimes makes it more someone else's article than yours.
