Rejection of "How to Prolong a Bouquet's Life"

Post by ammalia »

Hi.
I am new at Constant Content. My article "How to Prolong a Bouquet's Life" was rejected with the explanation that it contained grammatical errors. After I reread it carefully, I concluded that some of the expressions should be revised and, also, I corrected two words with missing letters. I was sure that it would be accepted next time. However, the next message said that this article had not been adequately revised. I cannot understand the problem. I revised some of the expressions that may seem awkward and I do not see any other mistakes - in words, expressions, punctuation, or even structure. I have not had problems with my writing till now.

I would be grateful if you tell me the exact reasons for rejection, maybe with one or two examples. I think this article contains valuable information in which someone may be interested and I would not like to leave it unsubmitted.

I'm sorry, but finding errors is the responsibility of the author. Once articles are rejected, they are purged from our system.

Your revisions were better, but the article still contained significant problems - phrases that would seem illogical or awkward to a speaker of English.
