My article was rejected for: "We accept only completely original content."
I referenced a third-party quote in the article. I would just like clarification: We are not allowed to quote other sources?

Fair Use rules are general rules that guide writers into using other writers' work withough plagiarizing. You can look up Fair Use or "plagiarism" on the web - many university websites will clearly spell how another person's writing may be used.
