Red Zen

Post by jcearls »

Hi everyone,

I have a new book out. It's called Red Zen. Check it out if you get a chance.

I'm still writing for CC, just taking a little break now. I had some good luck last month with a few celebrity bios! I'm going to try a few more of those soon.

Regards,
Jason

Here is sort of a review of the book (he didn't read it thoroughly, just barely scanned through it):

Thanks to CC for letting us promote our work here.

I will have to say that verbal + math skills must make you superhuman.

To me, math defies logic, even though math-lovers would say that math defines logic.

Urgh. Too much talking about math already. I still have nightmares about math exams.

Congratulations on your book!

I'm way more partial to the verbal than the math. (I just know a little bit about number theory and programming.)

Thanks for the good words, Ed!

Congratulations, JC! When Amazon classes you with William Gibson, you are doing something right.

Steve:

I definitely agree; and I like being in the company of Cory Doctorow, too!

Good for you, Jason. I think a lot of us would like to see our name on Amazon. How was it working with lulu? I jusy found them today and the site looked interesting. Did you find it/them easy to work with?

They're fairly easy to work with. Although there was one rough spot where I thought I might have to pay $75 to do a revision on the book, since Lulu really trashed the formatting on one of the proof copies. But they seem to have fixed the problem without me having to pay.
