How exactly would I go about promoting?
Are we given a webpage with our portfolio on it or does CC do the majority of promotion?

Hi,
You do have an author's link you can use elswhere to drive potential customers to look at your available content. Either find your name in the author's list or find one of your articles and click your name until you find a page listing all of your content - that is your link. For example, my link is:
http://www.constant-content.com/author/ ... ails-0.htm
I use this link at places like iFreelance to show potential customers my current work. You can use it on blogs or wherever you see fit. Don't overlook using keywords in the keyword section of your submission. CC does a lot of marketing as well to bring customers to the website in general. They don't promote individual writers.
Good luck!
