I had the CC pages open from yesterday, and this morning clicked on something and discovered that my 2 articles under review weren't there anymore. I hadn't gotten an email accepting or rejecting and frantically clicked everywhere trying to find some word as to their status. Accepted? Rejected? Please don't leave me in suspense! I thought maybe while they were being reviewed, they'd disappear from my account temporarily to reappear with a verdict.
Frantically I searched for something.
Then I found it. My error. When I refreshed a page left open overnight, it took me to a log in screen and I logged in, and went to the non-author side where I had originally signed up in error.
Nothing missing. Everything as I left it.
It disappeared!
