What is the hits column in My Content tab ??

What is the hits column in My Content tab ??

I am new to this site and just posted two articles. In the m content tab one of my article has got '2' in the hits column. What does this mean??

It means your article has received 2 views.

The views could be from customers, other writers, or even yourself if you clicked on the link to them.
