Price setting for articles

Post by angelscribe »

Before i post my two articles this weekend, how do I set the prices for the article? Do I pick one licenses like usage and make a zero for the rest? Or do I set the price for all of them, and see if it happens? How does it work? I've seen some content when there's three prices per right online. I'm a bit confused. Can you help ASAP? :?: :?

Hello and welcome to cc!

If you are offering to sell all three rights, then you need to set three different prices- one for each type of license:usage, unique, and full.

If you enter a zero in usage, that means you are giving it away for free- something cc no longer does. If you enter a zero for unique or full, then that means that those particular licenses are not available for sale.

Good luck with your writing and selling!

Oh okay. Usage you can sell, unique you can't change and sell, and full you have no copyright, right?

Pretty much- usage is yours to sell again (as in your other post, to ac or to someone else through cc), unique- the buyer can't change and includes your name, but only if you include your name on the article (as in a byline), full- it's no longer yours and the buyers can do whatever they want with the articles.

Hope this info helps!

Thanks. I probably set prices for two of them for now-usage and unique. Thanks for straightening it out. Here goes nothing!
