As many of you know, I was also due to have a June baby and right on planned c-schedule time, Brenna Shae was delivered at a substantial 9.1 oz, 21 inches. She's a big, healthy girl and I'll post some pics as soon as we can.

We're all happy, healthy and well, and at home. I look forward to dusting my fingers off and writing again soon!

Yay! Congratulations to you, too. Another girl :) And a big one, too! Having had big babies (you don't want to know how big my son was) myself, I never quite know how to hold my friends' daintly little six pounders. Enjoy these days and try to sleep when you can. So glad you and Brenna one are both happy and healthy.

JK what day did you deliver? My little girl was born June 23. Do you have pics up online yet? Good luck to you and your husband. :)

Well done! Brenna is a lovely name, and I'm glad she's a healthy girl. Bet you were glad for the planned c-section when she weighed in at 9 pounds. My now 7-year old son was 10 pounds, but thankfully I didn't know that during delivery. :)

I remember reading a study a while back that said the larger the birth weight, the smarter the baby would be. She'll be a genius!
