This question has nothing to do with writing or with CC but I have been asking this question for years and no one knows the answer. There is a word for when the month, day and year are all the same (7-7-7) but no one seems to know it, be it 1-1-1 or 3-3-3, etc. I just read an article online written by Wayne Parry an AP writer. He had a lot to say about next Saturday being 07-07-07 but he did not give the numerological term. Anyone with an answer?

I don't have a clue what the term is but I'm looking forward to 7/7. Down the road from me is an expensive building that's a popular wedding site. A local woman booked the place months ago for her wedding on 7/7, but at the time of the booking, she had no groom-to-be, boyfriend, or admirer.

Can't wait to hear how it worked out. . .

I know that if you would write 7-07-07 backwards it would be the same date and that would be a numerical palindrome right? Where something is the same forward as backward? Sort of like the word "level".

I don't know...lucky day I suppose. Play the lottery I've heard. Maybe we'll win. I'll be at a baseball game. Maybe they'll win.

You have to write it exactly as 7-07-07 to get it to work. I guess it's called a palindromic date. (oooo, sounds so technical...)
