Anyone know what happened to a recent public request?

Just curious what happened to the recent public request for "Looking for hundreds of articles in particular niches". Not sure if anyone knows or if it can be divulged but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
Thanks!

Bummer it's gone. Maybe he had plenty of responses and will be assigning the topics to those who responded via the private request system.... I know it was a first come, first served request. We'll see.....

Yeah that's why I was so curious since I was speaking with the individual in the question area. Let's hope it isn't canceled altogether.

Yes, I also "pitched" for that. Looks as though they've had a good response and feel they've got all they need. It'll be interesting to see what happens...

I was having discussions with the requester about this also & "think" - they are going to be giving private requests for articles OR at least that is what I am "hoping"! They did mention they had filled several of them, but offered me one -- SO "we will see" what happens!

I was asked how many I could do per month of the subject I felt I was qualified for but that was the last I heard. The post disappeared shortly thereafter. Hopefully if it does go to private requests one of the individuals selected will let us know so that curiosity is satisfied at least!

Lucky you, Catnipp333! I'm in the same boat as tifferbugz, as my exchange came to a halt when I told the customer how many I reckoned I could submit a month! I've got a feeling they might've been wanting more than I could commit to, but I didn't want to promise anything I couldn't deliver on.
I'll let you know if I hear any more...

Hey Writers,
For those of you responding to these private requests, please make sure your titles are properly capitalized. Just because your title may be a question or in sentence form, doesn't mean it shouldn't follow normal capitalization rules for titles.
Thanks,
Ed

Thanks for that information, Ed!
For private requests do we still put part of the content in the article details section?

Ed,
SORRY about that.
I did it that way because their website has it like that.
I will make sure the next ones are capitalized though.

I haven't heard from the customer so someone else probably got the topic I was hoping for. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
Congrats to those who got their assignments.
Here's my two cents that may make the process easier since there will be hundreds of little articles flooding the site: I don't know about this particular customer but many customers with tons of small pieces like this request prefer them bundled - like in groups of ten or more. It's easier to manage as a writer as well. Plus I imagine it would be easier on the editors having fewer individual pieces to run through CopyScape. Happy writing!

Thanks for that, Celeste. I was thinking the same, and have asked the customer if he/she wants them submitted separately or "bundled."
I have been given two requests so far. It's nice to have been given a shot, but I'll be taking it as it comes. I had something similar going on a little while ago which now seems to have disappeared! As I am learning where this whole freelance writing business is concerned, there are no guarantees...
