Confused about David Top 10 Submissions

Post by dsletten »

Hi,
Did I miss a memo?? I see that there are a lot of writers submitting their David Top 10 articles through the Private Request even though it is a Public Request. Is everyone supposed to submit articles through Private to make it easier or did they indeed get assignments to do these as Private Requests?

Thanks,
Deanna

Thanks for directing me to the right forum. I had searched the forum before asking but hadn't come upon that one. Appreciate the help. :D

No problem. I figured it would make more sense if you read the discussion instead of me trying to explain how the decision came to be made to put these particular articles there. :P

One more annoying question

Post by dsletten »

Can I ask one more stupid question?? Since David has his own topic area should we still send him articles when they have been reviewed or do we just assume he will find them on his own?

Thanks

I would only notify him if they are articles that are placed in another category. For example, maybe you write a Top 10 article about something that he may be interested in, related to home improvement, but it really belongs in another category. I would then just put it in the appropriate general category and notify him. Otherwise, I think he'll probably just browse through the submissions in "his" category.

Wow, that was fast - thanks. This helps a lot. I don't want to give him more work than necessary.

Thanks again.

I don't know, Celeste. You were supposed to tell him. ;)

He probably knows. I think this is something he would be told about.
