I just got my first article accepted and would like to apply for several Expert Groups. Does anyone have tips for applying?

Are certificates always required or can experience be substituted? Should I upload copies of the certificates or upload a resume with the certificates and experience listed?

I have no idea if I'm a part of an expert group but I'd say write a lot on your topic of expertise and customers and CC people will notice.
