rejections

I had some photos rejected for being very pixelated which were over 1000 pixels. I am wondering if they can be salvaged by bumping up the dpi in Photoshop.

If the photo is like 20 x 16 at 72dpi, I think it should print at a good quality in smaller sizes for print publications and is more than adequate for onine applications.

Any thoughts?

bumping an image up will not help... if its upped in Photoshop, Photoshop will only guess the surrounding pixels. With that said we are also trying to keep the quality up as we do with the writing.
