Portrait to landscape format

I've just made my first photo submission - nine in all. Have no idea whether they will meet the quality standards here. But they all relate to an article I have posted.
One problem I've noted when I clicked edit just to have a look at them: at least one of the portrait format pics has come out as landscape and therefore looks very strange. I'm going back to check the others now.
I believe someone else has mentioned this in the forum, but I'm not sure what was done about it.
