A Question on Titles

Post by jfmalewitz »

I just submitted an article with a title of a film in it. I know in basic journalism it would go like 'Army of Darkness' in the actual title of the article. Or is it "Army of Darkness"
Allow me to explain. I know within the article it will be "Army of Darkness" but the article was on an actor. Bruce Campbell: Star of 'Army of Darkness' Is that right or wrong. Hope that made sense. Thanks for your time.

For web purposes, the title should read: Bruce Campbell: Star of "Army of Darkness"

I know it's hard not to write article titles like headlines (I'm a journalist, too), but for web content, try to divorce yourself from some of those AP Style-tendencies. :D

All I needed to hear. That was what I assumed. The blog addresses within the article, but I found nothing on the actual headline. Thanks for the help, writewell.

Many websites also use single quotations around words that would have double quotations when they appear in headlines. I would accept this.

Thanks,
