How often do articles sell?

Post by Goldfishbowl »

Hi there,

I'm considering using the site to supplement my freelance income. However, I'm wondering if anybody could give me an idea of how active the site is and how often articles sell. Most of the availabe articles have '0' downloads, but of course they would disappear altogether if they were bought outright.

Can anybody tell me, roughly, how often their articles are bought/typical waiting period/if constant-content can be used to make a good income?

I appreciate all replies, so thank you in advance

Rob.

Hi there Rob, I've made some posts using data that I have gathered from the CC recent sales page which might help to answer this question; here's a thread that you may find relevant: https://www.constant-content.com/forum/ ... =2&t=76741

Hard to say really. Some months are better for some industries than others. It takes time to get going. It took me 20 articles before I sold my first one. I'd say try 20-50 articles and see what happens.

I had my first 12 or so sell almost the same day they were put up. I've had others up for six months. It really depends on the market, time of year, whats trending, what clients find appealing, when clients are looking, which clients are looking, what clients budgets are.
