Has anyone noticed the ad?

Post by TheWriteKind »

The ad at the top of the forum screen is for articlestreet, which is free articles. No offense, I realize it's advertising (which helps cover costs and such) but, it just seems a little counter productive. It would be like Visa advertising for Mastercard on their website. We have lots of free content on our site here...why would we want to promote clients going to another website, even if only for free content??

Just an observation....no offense intended.

We have google adsense so we have no real control over the ads... but we can ban sites and this is one will will ban. But really free articles are no competition to this site, if people are looking for free articles they can go to a hundred different sites and download the same article thousands of others did. Free article sites have been around forever and more and more are coming up, its a fad and people will realize that free articles published else where can hurt you in the long run.

I have to agree with Constant. I am a frequent constant content article buyer and i never buy the free or usage license simply because i only want the article for my website only.

Hey Chris, I have to say that I wouldn't ban those ads for free articles just because we have them and if someone wants to waste time playing with free stuff....at least you'll earn some Google revenue!

Blueshadow wouldn't click on that ad...smart!
