Wait Time on Public Requests?

Hi, there's one thing I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around.

When you submit an article to fulfill a public request, I know that you let the author know in the Q and A where they posted. However, what about the time it takes to get articles approved? Am I competing with more experienced authors who don't have the same wait time?

Hi Mizchulita

Nice to meet you. I am no expert, but as far as I know, all articles go into queue in the order that they are submitted so that everyone has equal chance.
