Pseudonyms allowed?

Hi:

Can I write under an assumed name? The reason would be that I'd be moonlighting from my current position, so I'd rather not have my own name plastered over the Internet at this time :)

There are many here who use a pseudonym. In fact, the beauty of internet writing is you can be whoever you want to be, and no one is the wiser. I use my real name, but that is because I wanted to build up a reputation. I agree though that the fact that my real name would be attached to some topics has made me shy away from certain subjects.

It's kind of fun adopting a pen name. It gives you freedom at first but soon you'll find that you have a reputation to maintain with the pen name.

I believe CC will change it on your behalf if you shoot them an email using the Contact Us form. It might take a bit of time as CC is busy revamping a few things. . .
