This isn't very important, but I can't find a straightforward answer anywhere.
How long does it usually take for an article/photo to be accepted and published?
I think I'm like developing OCD, I keep coming back to check every half hour! :P

It varies, sometimes it's the same day, other times it's several days later depending on Ed's workload and the volume of submissions. Try not to obsess, it's hard I know. While you're waiting, start a new article. That will fill the time and you'll have something new to submit soon. Welcome!
