E-mail notification that article sold

Post by nichewriter »

Is it just me or is this happening to other CC authors also? Whenever I sell an article, I get the e-mail notification that it has sold 2 days later. Usually it is 3 or 4 days later. I got an e-mail notification just now (May 24, 2:10AM) for an article I sold on May 22. A few hours ago, I got the notification for an article I sold on May 21.

Hi Nichewriter,

I'm finding the same thing. The email giving the sold notice is arriving at least one full day later, if not more. It's hard for me to know exactly how long it is because I am in Australia and therefore on a completely different time line. Usually the sales happen while I am asleep anyway. I'm just used to checking the recently sold list often, but otherwise it is a nice surprise when the email arrives.

The same thing has been happening to me. Most of the time, the emails are around a day late for me but in one case, it was more like two days.

Mine are about 24 hours late. I never get them in my regular email box, either. It's quite annoying. I usually find out soon after an article sells because I regularly check the Recently Sold list. So, when I do get the delayed notification in the CC inbox, it's just another message that I have to delete. Before, when the notices weren't delayed, it was a nice surprise to find a sale. Now, it's old news and yet another chore to take care of.
