I'm trying to understand the Affiliate Program. Any wise words on the subject will be appreciated.
Is it correct that authors are also sometimes an Affiliate? They would become an Affiliate because they have a website and need content?
Is it correct that when the Author/Affiliate downloads for their site, that the license is issued in the name of the Author/Affiliate's website?
When someone follows an authors url to cc and signs-up, then the author becomes an affiliate?
Is it possible to write under one penname and also a website name? If so, can cc handle all transactions through one paypal account?
Thanks much,
Aariana Adams

So there are two types of affiliates....
Author affiliates: Every author has an affiliate link under his or her account. If another author signs up to be a writer that came from that link, you get 5% of every sale that author makes (5% from the CC commission).
Article Affiliate: You can sign up to be an affiliate to the site and get 20% if someone buys any article that comes from your link.
The two are completely separate. Hope that helps.
