Article With Diagrams

A recent requester wants articles with diagrams or photos. I think I read that diagram adding isn't something CC allows for. Is this correct? And should a writer just try to submit text anyhow.

You can submit the text only if you prefer.

Any images/illustrations should be embedded into the file submitted and must belong, and be credited to, the author.
