Hi. Have you cleared all the articles submitted for the growing tomatoes public request? Just asking because I submitted an article for this one on Monday and am wondering if it may have fallen through the cracks. I think the customer has taken down the request now, but as he bought two gardening articles from my stock I was kind of hoping that I might also get a look-in with this one (provided it cleared the submission process that is!).
If my article is still waiting in line for review and nothing’s gone amiss, then no problem.
Many thanks,
Jane

Hey, Jane. Wasn't that a fun request? Wow.
From what I understand, a customer can take down a request but any articles submitted to it are posted to them for the 3-day review period just like always. So, if you submitted your article to the request, the customer will have the chance to take a look at it anyway. This happened to one of mine for the tomato request--I think they just got completely inundated and finally stopped buying!
Someone else will be along soon to snag all the tomato articles that particular customer didn't buy. Good for us, eh?

Evelyn, yes the request was a great opportunity. The customer said he would include my bio on his site in respect of the two articles I sold (he bought for full rights), which was really good of him.

The customer declined my growing tomatoes in containers article I wrote on spec for him
I don't think he bought all the articles that were in his request.

Not to worry, Jennifer. Someone else may come along and take it. I imagine that Lars (customer) had tomato growing articles coming at him from all sides! Anyway, as he undoubtedly got what he needed, there's every chance that he will return when he next needs articles for his sites.

Re: growing tomatoes public request - review
There's another public request for gardening articles. It's older and so far he hasn't purchased anything. The request specifically mentions tomatoes and general gardening articles. You might try sending your tomato articles off to him since they are already written. The request expires in a couple days.
I sent a couple of gardening articles to the request. While they aren't exactly general, I figure he must not have wanted the general articles that were surely submitted by now. Maybe being a teeny bit different will trigger his pocketbook to say yes.
