Change of Price

Post by KinsleyRoyale »

I was asked by someone if I would sell an article at a lower price. This was not one I had "or best offer" checked off. They emailed me about it.

I told him ok and went into my content to lower the price. What method should I have used to give this one person a lower price for "use"?

Is it ok to go back and raise the price again now that he bought it?

Yes. I have sold some articles for usage for a lower price the first time and then gone in and raised the price. I raised the price each time it sold for usage for one of my article.

Another thing you could hve done is to check your best offer option and emailed the customer to make the offer. Then you couldhave accepted or rejected it without having to change your price in the first place.

Congrats on the sale :)

I think you went about this the only way possible. I've received a few emails from customers who have asked if I would agree to selling articles at a lower price. I just went in and changed the price. But that was for full rights. However, I don't see any problem with going back in and increasing the usage price to what it originally was as we can change the prices any time we want.

Congrats on the sale!
