3 article limit?

Post by dellacqua »

I note that the recommendations are to write as much as possible and I am writing three articles a day but I have three articles up for review that haven't been looked at and they have been there for a week! I am going to have a huge backlog of articles at this rate. Is it always so slow?

Hi there.

Apparently the queue has been slower than normal, these past few weeks. Don't panic, though: they are getting reviewed. The articles for requests still seem to be reviewed more quickly than pieces for the general catalog, in my very limited experience here.

I just submitted for the first time last week. It was on the 6th or 7th day that I was sent a revision notice. My resubmissions were reviewed very promptly.

Hi,

My first article was submitted a week before it was reviewed and I had submitted another two articles in that time. The system said I had a three article limit until my first article had been approved when the limit would then become six articles (if I remember rightly). All my articles were reviewed within about ten days (the second two were quicker than the first) and all had to be resubmitted (I made the mistake of not reading the guidelines before submitting - oops!!) but once I had resubmitted they were all reviewed within 24 hours - two were accepted and one has since sold! (I'm rewriting the third).

So review times are improving and you will be able to submit more articles once your first few have been approved.

I hope this helps.
