stolen articles?

Post by dellacqua »

I am new here and see some posts on stolen articles. How do I check if my article has been stolen and reproduced under someone else's name? I presume it would be under a different title? Perhaps that is why I haven't sold anything yet!

Take a random sentence from your article and (in quotes) paste it to the Google Alerts system. You'll get an email. It's best to use a sentence from the first paragraph, because the scrapers who don't post the whole article will think they are beating the system by using the first paragraph and linking back. However, I mix it up.
