Question about deleting content

I have 2 articles submitted. On my content page one has options to delete or edit. The other only has an edit option (it has also sold). I need to delete and re-submit since my name isn't in the articles and I apparently cannot edit once a submission is accepted. How do I delete the one that only has an edit option? And why is it like that?

if the article has been sold you can not delete it. The customer already owns a license and you should not be able to delete it.

It was sold for usage only. Is there any way that I can edit to add my byline. For any future use I mean. I'm still getting used to all this so I guess I'm a bit confused.
