How Do I Delete Attachments?

I've had my first article rejected because of a double space between words. Fair enough. But not being familiar with the interface, I managed to reattach the same article...twice! Now I can't figure out how to unattach them. I see now that what I need to do is upload and attach a new file, but with the other two attached, they won't know which is the corrected version. Can someone please offer me some advice on this? Thanks so much!

I did the same thing when I first joined Just upload the new file and don't worry about the reattached ones. If you are really concerned, send a message to support to let them know. I am sure it will all be fine - don't panic.

Thanks for replying trisheart. I did exactly that, and there was no trouble about it. I just put the word 'revised' on the third attachment and sent a note with it. Live and learn.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but just did this, and then I remembered I have done this before. Can CC modify the interface to make it less confusing or give a better explanation? The pop-up help next to reattach says, "To resubmit an existing file, click here." I think that is what we all thought we wanted to do. What purpose does Reattach do?

Anyway, glad I searched before starting a new thread.
