Good afternoon all;
I have a question for those of you who've been around CC much longer than I, and therefore likely published.
In your experience, when a listing states that (as an example) their Price per article is $10-20, what rights are they usually expecting to purchase?
What has worked best for you?
It would certainly be helpful if potential buyers stated what rights they wanted wouldn't it? Then you wouldn't end up with silly questions from newbies such as myself.
Thank you for your time,
Raida

It's hard to say. The $10-$20 range is the default range when the customers enter their requests and I often wonder if sometimes they just leave it when they may be willing to pay more.
When I see a request that is in a range like that, I try to put usage at the lower end of the range and full rights at the higher end. In the example of a $10-$20 range I would price the article like this:
usage $10
unique $15
full rights $20
That way the article fits their range and they can buy whatever rights they want.
