I have an article that has not sold in the 18 months since it was approved. I now see that the material is better suited for use in two articles, with each article focusing on a different aspect of the main topic. Is it permissible to remove and edit the article and then resubmit the material as two separate articles? Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.
Certainly. You can do what you like with articles that haven't sold. On the My Content page you have a choice of edit or delete, but edit is only for what appears on the submission page, such as your prices. If you want to change the article you are offering, you have to delete and resubmit. If I do that, I always note what I've done for the editors in the short summary, so they know if the work has been approved before, and how much it has been changed.
