How do I alter article due to obsolete information?

Post by weagle87 »

If an article has been accepted, how do I go back and alter it?

For example, I wrote an article about Pensacola which has been accepted. However, when I reviewed it, I realized that enough time passed between submission and acceptance that my reference to Mardi Gras is obsolete. Is there a way to fix this without going through the submission process again?

By the way, happy Mardi Gras.

Afraid not. As I understand it, you have to delete and resubmit. But in the short summary, let the editors know it was previously accepted and point to your changes. Once it is accepted again, you can edit that out of the summary.
