Writer Pool -- Disappearing projects?

When I click to claim a project, it disappears from the list and is not listed on the writer pool settings page. I can't find any record of it anywhere. Any idea where they go?

Weird. Do you not find it under "My projects"? When you click on Writer's Pool Settings, does it say you have any claimed requests?

No, there's nothing in either section. It's removed from the list of available projects on the writer dashboard as well.

Which project was this? Could it be that someone always just managed to take the request before you did? That's highly unlikely for every time you clicked but it could happen, especially with the Ongoing General Articles.

This happened to me as well - the project sort of turned up a few days later when it was due. Admin, as ever, sorted it out though. You may want to enquire.

Try looking on the very first page of the writer pool requests. When you click on it, it disappears from the page you were on, but it should show up as the first listing for you. If you are in a writer pool, the requests that you claim count as private requests, so they don't always appear on your writer pool settings page. Let us know if you find it there - it might help someone else with the same problem.

Interesting. No, I still don't see them anywhere. They don't show up on the submission form either. I'll finish them and submit them under the standing order for now.

I see the Writer Pool tab but there's nothing in it. Do I have to apply for the Articles section first?
