What is the procedure for straight editing jobs?

Hi all,
This is in reference to a recent public request. The buyer wands a straight editing job of an existing document. My question(s):

1) how does the buyer get the document to me (assuming I get the job  )
2) does such a job go through review?
3)how do I get the edited document to the buyer?

Thanks

He can just copy and paste the text in your correspondence with him or he can post it on his website and direct you to a link where you can download it (assuming he has a website of course).

I'm not sure if customers still have the "upload document" option through CC. They might. In that case, the customer can upload it on his end and you get a link (kind of like a reverse way we post articles to them).

Then you read it, edit it, and submit to Ed for approval as normal along with a brief note describing the nature of the job.

Good luck!

He can also send the document to support, and they can forward it on to you. Old support used to do this for one of my customers, so that might be a good option if he doesn't have a website to upload it on.

I am happy to do that as well. It should be submitted through the normal process when you give the buyer back the edited piece. We are in the process of figuring out how to make such things as content management, or editorial gigs, much easier and more specific.
