Question about Requests

What criteria are used for removing requests from the current board? Are they removed only when the customer removes them manually?
Currently, the requests aren't removed unless the customer removes them. However, the developers are working on a better system for this so that we don't have all of those old requests sitting around for months. It's best to answer only the most recent ones.
