Help Please!! Ed and Constant, Please

Hi, I have two quick things.

1. Ed...I have tried to cut out the is/was/were's from the article I have just submitted. If I could have some feedback from you, that would be great.

2. I received a "new message" that says

"Hi Angie
Yes, we have enough articles now.
Thanks

When I log on, I can't find the message anywhere even though it says I have one. The worst part is that I didn't ask any questions and only have one job on the go. I'm really confused. Any ideas????

I don't know what to tell you about the second one . . .? Did you figure it out?

As for the first, your writing has always seemed clear to me, except when I've pointed out an oversight. Because I haven't had to focus on many errors, I can't really say much about your most recent submissions. :)

I will take that as the highest compliment then! Thank you so very much!

As for the message, it still says I have a message and I can't figure out where it came from. I asked my customer and he didn't know anything about it either. I've gone through all of my notes in the past few weeks and I can't seem to find anywhere it fits in. My biggest concern was that my customer changed his mind, but now that I know it wasn't him I'm more curious.

I have has a "new message" for several weeks now. It doesn't go to anything either. Maybe it is from an old request that the customer closed?
I just want it to disappear so I can stop trying to ignore it, lol. I have emailed support, but they cannot find it either. Oh well.

That's what I'm going to do since whoever it was isn't asking for work, but it makes me wonder. I'll just have to leave it an hope whoever it was contacts me when they need more articles lol.
