Assistance please?

It seems I have an issue a day...and here is one of today's problems:

I've written 4 articles for the public request for Northern Arizona articles, requested by Tony. That public request is now missing from the content request board. He's purchased 3 of the articles, and asked for the 4th (Oak Creek Canyon) yesterday. I told him an ETA of today. Now, article is approved and ready for sale, but I have no way to get it to him. Is there some way to contact customers without the Request board?

We had discussed the possibility of him issuing a private request, but so far I haven't received anything, either on CC or in my email account. I don't know what happened. He's using the articles, and has them up on his site already, so I don't think he would have asked for the Oak Creek article if he had been unhappy with my work....however, it's all disappeared, and I am left confusled.

Another minute issue: I am no longer receiving article sold or article accepted/rejected notifications in my email account. I've gone through 2000 spam msgs in my Spam folder just to make sure they didn't inadvertently get flopped into that folder, but have found nothing. I've sold 3 in the last 3 days, and had the 4 approved, with no email notifications. I went in last night and changed my email preferences to accept all: notices, newsletters, and requests for content, and still nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks for your patience with all my glitchiness!

Don't worry; the private request is pending approval. I don't usually take care of these - let me see if I can do something about it.

I'm just out the door to run some errands - let me address your email problem when I return.

Thanks,
Ed

Sweeeeeeeeet. I'm so glad I didn't do anything to mess up the sale. In the meantime, when you get back, is there some way to notify him that the Oak Creek article is ready for purchase? I know it just got approved mere minutes ago, but I like to deliver as soon as humanly possible on the requests.

Thanks for putting out the self-doubt fire!!! :)

That was quick. Left the forum, went to account, and the private req. is already there. Thanks for the light-speed turnaround!

PS: Just so you know, when I post my glitchies, I'm not doing so to be a pain in the arse....I just don't know if I'm the only one experiencing these issues, so I post to find out.

Joining CC has been a cathartic, therapeutic, soul-boosting, allaround great experience for me. Thanks for letting me a part of it!

No problem. As for the problems you have been having - did you hear anything back from Support yet? If you can, a complete list of the issues you have experienced would probably help us (them) identify the problems. Some of them may be tech issues, others may be site-wide issues. I don't know, but the people at Support might.

Hi,

It's been a long time since I've submitted any articles to CC, but I'm starting up again. I've been busy writing for companies in my area, but the work is drying up and I'm getting nervous. I, too, am having problems with email. I've not received a public request notice in ages and I did not receive notification of the approval or rejection of the article I wrote and submitted this morning. I'll send off a note to support.

Happy Writing,

T
