How does CC work with updating the info on the site? It seems like there will be the same articles listed on the home page and then all of a sudden it will update and new articles will appear. How often does this update occur? Also, it seems like all of the sales do the same thing? I'll have no sales and then check the site and it will all of a sudden there will be sales listed -- is this true?

Re: Periodic updates?
Hi, as far as the articles getting updated on the CC home page, I believe it's related to when Ed's working. If Ed takes a well-deserved day off, you'll notice that your articles hang out longer in the que and no new articles get posted. Once Ed's back on the clock, articles get approved and therefore appear on the main page as "recently added content." YOu may see 0 articles posted today and 80 posted tomorrow.
As far as sales, that's random and depends on the customers actually coming along and buying. A few variables come into play such as payment type - for example, if a customer buys with a "non-instant" payment type like a check or PayPal e-check, the article is technically sold but not listed until the check clears. When the check clears though, it's not necessarily going to show up on the 20 most recently sold articles because in reality, the sale date wasn't exactly recent - newer sales would have pushed the sale far off the list. So, not all sales are displayed.

Ed should not be allowed any days off. In fact they should double his hours and reduce his reviewing font size to an 8.
Haha! Just kidding Ed! I appreciate all of your hard work.
Now I know how it works. Thanks for the info Celeste! You rock!
