Regarding Multiple Submission Articles....

I know we've covered this somewhat before, but for those of you who submit multiple articles in one Word doc., for your clients, do you seperate each article with it's own page? My situation involves writing numbers shorter write-ups (200-250wds each) which I'm going to submit 5 or 6 at a time, or, hey, maybe all in one document. (16 in all). Just want to do whatever will make it easiest on Ed, and my client is fine with whatever way I choose to submit them...

I'm thinking a seperate page for each write up, just to appease my own control-freakish-nitpicky-OCD fetish :D

Ideas, suggestions, slaps upside the head? :D

Thanks!

Deborah

Any way you do this is fine. Usually one file is easiest with the articles separated into one article per page (as you suggest) or each article framed by a series of hyphens or ellipses.

Thanks for asking.

Well, last time I did that for the client, he then had me go back and do up even more write ups on those seperate blurbs, as if he thought that the submission was meant to be just one article. So I think, even though I know that probably wasn't the case, it's just easier to put each article on its own page within the one doc, for the sake of everyone's sanity!!

It's an adjustment getting used to writing 'web (marketing) content' vs just informational articles on basic subjects. However, it's definitely a challenge to write repeatedly about the same topic and yet keep all articles entirely different and original! I'm somehow glad I never got into web design/development/marketing. I get the fun part of the project-I get to create the articles.....someone else has to piddle around with the SEO and all that tedious stuff!!

Obkb....Thanks Ed. :)

Try not to overthink it. Here's what I do:

Article Title

Text of article balah blah blah. Blah blah blah

word count
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Funny you should say that.....Overthinking things is my specialty! :)

I overthink myself into a corner many a time, then I get stuck! This stellar ability came in the package with my astronomical supply of self confidence!! :D

Thanks, Celeste!
