Editing after the content has sold.

This may have been asked before, but I couldn't find it any of the ways I searched for it.

I was just thinking about how I was going to correct a small mistake in an article, but it sold while I was asleep. I was looking through "Your Content" and noticed that the edit link is still there. I understand that full rights sales basically gives the buyer the power to do anything to it, and you can't do anything about it. But what about usage and unique?

In other words... Does the edit feature still work when the content has sold with usage or unique rights?

Hi,
The edit field is a bit misleading in that if you edit the text in the display, the underlying Word document remains unchanged. And guess what the buyer uses? The Word document.

Since it's already sold, there's little that you can do. For other articles, you would need to pull the entire article and resubmit with a note to Ed about the minor change to a previously approved article.
