The first person issue..

Hello fellow CC writers,

I wonder if you can help, I'm new here but certainly not new to writing – I have been a professional freelancer for 20 years and am a many times over published novelist with a journalistic background. My guilty secret is that I have probably made more money writing corporate custard than I ever have through the blood sweat and tears of getting whole books out there from, yes, you guessed it, bona fide publishers... but I digress...

I have a query about the first person viewpoint issue here on CC. I've seen a ton of accepted and for sale articles that, in the article description at least, are written from first person point of view. I'm not losing sleep over this and I fully understand why the less personal content would have a wider appeal. I just wondered how those writers or that copy, more to the point, got through what seems like pretty rigorous screening.

I think I’ll make it a personal rule to detach and not submit anything in first.

Your thoughts?

Hey, but other than that, CC seems like the best of the content sites from what I can see.

The rule has not been in place from the start. You are seeing articles from before this rule was implemented.

Thanks,
Ed

I get it! I did wonder if that was the case.

That was a quick response! Are you real, or some kind of automated keyword related response program? No offense.
