Hi. I am a new author wh has just signed up to your site. I have an article for a request that was made for a 'Winamp Description Article'. I got how the uploading process should work, however I have been unable to upload the document. In the Submition Form I ticked 'Is for a request?' and went on 'Private Request' and selected the Winamp article category that I had the title I had written the article for. However, when it came to asking for the Sub-Category selection- it came up with more options and I could not find any categories that contained the a place to put the article- I thought it should go under 'Software' but Winamp was not listed there. Could someone please guide me in where to submit my document too-please? Before 2009-03-05 if possiable as thats when the article needs to be submitted by!

Hi Ben,

You will not get a category or sub-category for every single name, brand, or article. Go ahead and submit the article under the category of software, without a further sub-category checked.

Oh I see, so not everyythinhg has to have a sub-catorgory!

Just make sure to pick something beyond the generic categories of Article, Blogs, Reviews, and Tutorials. All articles must be at least one step beyond these generic categories as in Articles> Parenting, Reviews> Book Reviews, Tuturials> Photoshop - never just Articles, Reviews, etc...
