First Sale--Where Can I Find It???

Hey Gorgeous Fabulous Fancy CC People-

I just made my first sale and I'm super excited!!! Does anyone know how I can find out who bought the article and where it's going to be used???

You can see the customer's SN by looking at your recently sold work. As for where it's going to be used... Well, that's a different matter all together.

If the customer bought full rights, they can:
1. Put it anywhere
2. Edit it until it doesn't resemble the original article
3. Put their own name on the piece
4. All of the above
5. Anything not listed above

You can try to do searches for the title or the text. If the work is being bought with usage rights, the customer still has the option of putting it up anywhere. The difference is that they have to leave your byline and the text intact. If you didn't put a byline in the text of the article...

Congrats!
While you might find the article in a few weeks by googling portions of text from it, you may never know. For example, if the article is used as part of an ezine sent to subscribers or if it is used in a print publication, it won't be discoverable on the Web. Nonetheless, enjoy the moment! Making the first paid sale is awesome!!!!!
