"Submit Existing Article?"

Hi. I have an existing article that seems right for a recent request, but when I tried submitting it to the buyer, nothing happened.

I went directly to the request, clicked to send a message to the buyer, then clicked "submit existing article," which brought up my list of articles. So far, so good...except that clicking the article didn't do anything at all.

Is this function working? Or am I missing something?

Thanks,

EK

It has worked for me recently. Did your title appear in a text box or field after you clicked it in the other box?

Nope. Clicking seemed to accomplish nothing. I've tried it several times.

Okay, now I've tried again, and discovered that for some reason it works on some articles, but not the one I want to submit. I clicked a random one, and it did appear. However, it was not possible to delete that one from the box and try another. I had to hit the "back" button.

Why can't I get it to work with the right article?!

Sounds like a weird glitch on that article. I would send an email to support asking for them to attach the specific article by name to the request for you, if I were you. You can always send the customer a message as well, even without attaching the article.

Hi genius waitress,

Can you let me know which article it was that you weren't able to submit to the request? I'd like to check this out.

Thanks,
jrichards

It's not just one article, but I have had repeated trouble with "The UK's Ride to Work Scheme," and also with the "Wonderland Adventures: Mysteries of Fire Island" review.

Thanks.
