Hello everyone! I am new to the Constant Content website and so far, I really like it. I just have a question regarding the downloads. I have been going around for a while now and looking at the top writers. I looked at the number of downloads to see how successful they had been, but most of them showed a zero. Is this because articles are not featured on the site once sold? Do people actually buy articles from the site? I want to be sure that I can really be successful before starting to write any articles.

Thank you in advance.

Danny Archer.

I'm not sure where you're looking, Danny. The number of articles sold for the top-selling authors is listed here:

Hi,
The downloads stat is a bit confusing. Most articles here sell for full or unique rights, so they disappear once sold. Only usage licenses have a "download" count. So, if an article sells for full or unique rights, it's gone for good and you won't see any related downloads for it because it's gone. If an article sells for usage, then it remains available. Of those, you can see how many times the article has sold for usage. For example, I have a few articles that have sold several times. If you were to find one of those, you'd see a number such as "4" representing that the article has sold for usage four times. On the other hand, I've sold tons of unique and full rights articles that you'll never find because they're gone.

You can also view the Authors link and see the sales figures for the most prolific and top-selling writers. In addition, if you click any writer's name, you can view the writer's profile along with basic sales figures. Start clicking away, and I'm sure you'll be impressed :)

Yes, people do buy from the site! This is an awesome place to sell your articles! Welcome and feel free to ask any of us questions.

Thank you for the very thorough and fast reply Celeste. That is what I thought originally, but I thought was mistaken.
