How long...

I am new here and joined c.c. a few days ago. I have posted 2 photos I believe and 1 article. My question is how long does it usually take for things to be reviewed? I uploaded a photo a day or so ago and was just curious.
Thanks! :)

Photo reviews often take some time. I suspect there is not a full time person to do that reviewing. Article review times vary a lot. Ed gives priority to any submitted for a request; the others go into his queue, so it depends how many are in it. I'd say an average is a couple of days.

Pictures do take longer because it's harder to check them against other copyrighted materials than it does text submissions. I don't know of a program which will compare pictures like Copyscape does with text.

Be patient with bots submission types. Articles do take less time, but it can sometimes take almost a week depending on how many submissions Ed has to go through - not to mention if a lot of requests pop up. An article submitted for a private or public request will take priority over general submissions because of the time sensitive nature of most requests.

I'd suggest that you just keep writing new material. Once you have a few accepted articles under your belt, just keep submitting those new articles.
