Combining short usage-only articles into one longer article

Hypothetical situation:
I have three 150-word usage-only standalone articles on the following topics:
1. cinnamon
2. nutmeg
3. cloves
I combine the three articles into one longer article called Three Holiday Spices, adding transitions between the 3 paragraphs but basically leaving them unchanged, add an intro and conclusion to tie the whole thing together, and submit the new article for usage only.
Is this allowed, or not?
I can't see why it wouldn't be since we're allowed to rewrite previously published work and submit as usage-only, but I just want to make sure before I embark on a whole new strategy.
Thanks!
