I have to brag, but not about me. I referred my sister to CC last week and she wrote her first raticle on hiring a bookkeeper and submitted it for approval last Friday. I reviewed it for her first to make sure the formatting was correct and I decided it was a great business article and had an excellent chance of selling. Every day I checked her profile to see if her article had been approved and by noon today it still hadn't been approved. Then a few minutes ago I checked my status and saw that some money had been added to my account. What? I hadn't made any sales today. Then I checked the Recently Sold list and there was my sister's article! Approved and sold in a hour or so!

Congratulations Sis! And since I get 5% of her sales, happy days for me too!

I think she will do quite well here on CC. She has so much knowledge about business and that topic seems to sell really well.

That's great for both of you! I love that you were checking her profile every day, how cute is that. My 3 sisters are all terrific writers although they don't do it professionally--I was thinking about telling them about CC now that I've started to have pretty good luck with my own sales here. Let's see, 5% x 3....

When I told my daughter about her aunt's first sale, she said," I guess you're a writer's pimp now, hunh?" I thought, hey, why not? and immediately went to Facebook and posted my referral link for all my friends. Some of them are great writers so maybe they'll sign up. I can just sit back and wait for the cha-ching to roll in.....

I just got my second article approved today. I am two-for-two. This makes it a great day for at least three of us. So, in honor of this occasion I shall do the Happy Dance for all of us.

Yes, it is chocolate bought in Toronto from the Cadbury place. I know this because I loaded a semi rig full of thier chocolate and took it to Laredo Texas to be enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to both of you! That's great. I'm still relatively new here, so I'm not sure if this question is gauche, but . . . wondering what she's writing about that gets snatched up so quickly . . . ?

Business articles, finances, bookkeeping. She's a certified QuickBooks specialist. She doesn't have much time for writing. I wish I could siphon off some of her knowledge to write about!
